Purpose / My Why!

When I was first contacted to be a part of the Mrs. Idaho organization, I was intimidated and wanted to immediately say no. However, there was something intriguing about the organization, and despite all of the stereotypes I thought I knew about pageantry, I was wrong. The Mrs. Idaho organization has offered me an unforgettable experience thus far, and the opportunity to be involved in my community.

I was born & raised in Nampa and I have always known that I wanted a platform to give back. I'm passionate about the services offered to families in Nampa and working with leaders and various organizations that support children, youth, women and families.

I am 34 years old. My husband Will and I have been married for 14 years. We are the proud parents of 2 great kids, Hunter and McKinley. I have a MS in Education & am completing a PhD in Higher Education Administration. I am a local business owner. I own & operate Treasure Valley Photo Booth and National College Planning Solutions. I am a member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Chamber of Commerce, as well as numerous networking, business and civil groups.

As a family, we enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, travel, fitness, hiking, theatre arts, movies, community activities, watching our children participate in local youth sports, road trips and enjoying all that Idaho offers.

I have entered the Mrs. Idaho pageant as a personal goal to step out of my comfort zone while providing community service and support to local organizations. I have aspirations of serving my community in a political capacity, and believe that the Mrs. Idaho America pageant will provide excellent communication, networking, and service opportunities.

A pageant is a wonderful opportunity to be involved, make a difference, and work with city leaders and charities throughout Nampa and the greater Treasure Valley. However, pageants come with many expenses, and I am relying on my corporate sponsors and family/friends to help offset some of these costs. If you know me, you know that I absolutely hate asking for help, so I take your financial contribution very seriously and want you to know that it means the world to me. Everything helps! Whether it is $5, $10, $20 or more, I can't do this without you! All sponsors will be listed on my bio page in the beautiful program books distributed at the Mrs. Idaho America pageant on October 3, 2015 as a way to say thank you, I appreciate you, and I truly couldn't participate in this journey without the love & support of my friends, family and community.

Thank you for your consideration. Your contribution means the world to me!!
